"The 2005 Esca Syrah is an intense dark ruby red/purple color. Aromas of cherry and cassis liqueur are followed by hints of roasted meat, bacon fat and white pepper. The tannins are soft and supple and the wine is full-bodied. This wine shows both elegance and power."
